Gross things found in the lab… (suite)

As written few days ago, I talked about certain things found in the lab. Here are two pictures. The first one is the head of a dead turtle and the second one is a bat, both in formaldehyde. That's f*cking disgusting!

The bat have been found in the lab few years ago. They didn’t find the turtle in the lab !

About me

I am Vincent Jourdain, a 23-year old student at the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivieres. I'm finishing my undergraduate in psychology. I work in an experimental neuropsychology lab, which is the main subject of my blog. I work in Dom Miceli's lab.

I'm working on visual and auditory cortex on anophthalmic mice (they don't have eyes). I'm looking forward to go in Europe for my grads studies. But I'm not only interested in neurosciences. I like chemistry (I've started my degree in organic chemistry in 2005 and I quit after a year), medecine, politics, and of course women.

Last summer, I was hired by the National Defense (DRDC Defense Research and Development Canada) to work on developping a new kind on energetic materials (explosives). It was only a contract, but I've learned alot about this kind of chemistry that we are not used to work with. Anyway, I might post some articles about explosives, if I feel like doing it.
